본 시민인문강좌를 통해 다문화가정 구성원들은 우리 사회를 살아가는 데 필요한 자가적 치유체험을 하는 것은 물론 이러한 치유체험을 통해 삶의 활력과 시민과 시민 간의 상호이해와 공감의 폭을 확장하게 될 것이다. 우리의 강좌는 다원주의적 시각에서 우리 속의 타자인 이주자들의 혼용성과 정체성을 아우르고, 이들이 우리사회에서 정서적 안정을 되찾고 자연스럽게 사회에 통합될 수 있는 초석을 마련할 목적으로 구성되었다. 강좌 마지막에는 전 과정의 수강생들이 제작한 영상물을 감상하고, 그 영상물이 가지는 의미 및 자신들이 표현하고자 것을 이야기하고 함께 공유하는 시간을 가짐으로써, 각각의 세대와 성이 공감하고, 이해하며, 소통할 수 있는 자리를 마련한다. 이러한 공유과정은 서로 비슷한 상황에 놓여 있으면서도 서로를 이해하기 힘들었던 다문화 가정의 청소년과 이주여성 그리고 이들의 남편이자 아버지가 서로를 보다 더 이해하고, 인정하는데 디딤돌이 될 수 있을 것이며, 더 넓게는 아직은 다문화 가정에 대해 폐쇄적인 한국 사회에서 보다 자주적이고 능동적으로 삶을 개척해 나가는데 작은 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The healing experience through our civil humanities courses gives for multicultural family members above all a self-healing required to live in our society through the experience of empathy and mutual understanding. This experience gives them the vitality of life. The purpose of our course is to prepare multicultural family members to regain emotional stability in our society, so that they can be integrated into our society naturally. At the end of the course, the whole students watch those videos, which they have made through the course, and thereby they have a time to talk about their experiences and share them with each other and with other generations. Our course will be a stepping stone in this way for the youth from multicultural families and for migrant women and their husband to understand and acknowledge each other. Furthermore it will be a little help for them to live in Korea more actively and independently.
