『論語·八佾』‘文獻不足徴’章釋義考

本文主要研究的是我們熟知的『論語·八佾』篇孔子談禮感慨“文獻不足”章的內容。本通過討論「禮運」與『孔子家語』文本記錄的一致性，認為這些內容應當是出於子游本人的與孔夫子談“禮”而寫下來的，最終成文於其學派的傳承。於是本文對「八佾」篇中孔子論“文獻不足”一章的句讀劃分重新做了探討，對“文獻不足”的釋義也重新做了考察。我們認為『論語·八佾』這一章內容可釋為：“孔子說：‘夏朝的禮制我能說得出來，但我去了杞國卻沒法完全得到驗證；殷朝的禮制我能說得出來，但是我去了宋國也沒法完全得到驗證。是典章文籍與遺賢不足的緣故啊，這些都具備的話我便可以驗證了。
Abstract
In “the Analects of Confucius, Ba Yi(論語·八佾)”, there is a part about Confucius and his disciple Zi You(子游) talking about the etiquette and law system of the Xia(夏) and Yin(殷) dynasties. Confucius said that he went to the capital of the Xia and Shang(商) Dynasties to investigate the etiquette, but the "WenXian(文獻)" was insufficient, so he could not verify it at that time. For the "sources" Zheng Xuan(鄭玄) and Zhu Zi(朱子) interpreted them as "articles, systems" and "talents(outstanding people)". I, the author, by using oracle bone inscriptions and other materials, believes that "獻" refers to the people from the Shang Dynasty, who flee from the Zhou Dynasty. The "文" refers to books about the etiquette system of Xia and Shang dynasties.
