Abstract
This study is a case study on teacher education and classroom changes among early childhood teachers at refugee school. To conduct the research, I visited H School in Malaysia and selected three early childhood teachers and the school director as participants. Data were collected through participant observation, interviews and photographs, and analyzed using the five stages suggested by Creswell (2007). The findings are as follows: First, understanding the teaching practices at H School requires consideration of the class environment. The School had limited space, with small, crowded classrooms that are not suitable for young children. This situation arises because H school serves refugee student and does not receive support from the Malaysian government. Second, the study examined changes in teaching practices before, during, and after teacher education program. Through these program, teachers tried to apply what they learned and made efforts to improve their classes. The study offers two main implication. it highlights the right of refugee children to education and suggests that corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities should focus on partnerships with refugee schools; it also proposes that, for the future of refugee education in Korea, the definition of citizenship should be expanded to include everyone, ensuring broader access to education for all children.
