대한민국의 저출산 및 비혼 증가는 심각한 사회적 위기를 초래하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제 해결을 위한 방안으로 AI 기반 가상결혼 시뮬레이션 프로그램 개발 가능성을 모색하고, 경기 지역 성인의 인식 및 요구도를 분석하였다. 경기 지역 19세 이상 미혼 남녀를 대상으로 한 온라인 설문조사 결과 청년층은 현실적 시나리오와 맞춤형 피드백 기능을 선호하며, 이러한 가상 체험이 결혼 및 출산 인식 개선에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 수 있다고 응답하였다. 공공 부문 운영 시에는 무료/저렴한 비용과 데이터 신뢰성, 기존 정책과의 연계가 중요하게 고려되어야 한다. 이를 바탕으로 가상결혼시뮬레이션 프로그램이 저출산 문제 해결을 위한 효과적인 정책 도구로 활용될 잠재력을 가지고 있음을 제안한다.
Abstract
South Korea faces a severe social crisis due to its declining birthrate and increasing number of single individuals. This study explored the potential development of an AI-based virtual marriage simulation program as a solution to this issue and analyzed the perceptions and needs of adults in the Gyeonggi region. An online survey targeting unmarried men and women aged 19 and older in the Gyeonggi region revealed that young adults prefer realistic scenarios and customized feedback features, believing that such virtual experiences can positively influence their perceptions of marriage and childbirth. For public sector implementation, affordability (free/low cost), data reliability, and integration with existing policies are crucial considerations. This suggests that virtual marriage simulation programs could be an effective policy tool for tackling the challenge of low birth rates.
