Abstract
This study explores the integration of the Vaganova Method and so matic approaches to propose a sustainable direction for ballet education focused on enhancing body awareness and preventing injuries. It ana lyzes the causes of ballet injuries and the structure and limitations of the Vaganova Method, followed by a review of key somatic techniques and their training principles. The findings suggest that combining somatic principles with the Vaganova framework enhances body awareness, sup ports functional recovery, and contributes to injury prevention. By in corporating somatic elements into warm-ups, bar-center work, and recov ery phases, ballet instruction can promote both technical development and physical safety within a unified structure.
