성인교육방법을 위한 독일 세대 간 상호 학습에 대한 탐구

본 논문은 독일의 세대 간 상호 학습을 내용적으로 분석하여 성인교육방법에 대한 이론적 보완을 제시하고 평생학습사회와 평생학습도시 실현을 위한 전략적인 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구는 문헌 분석과 내용분석에 기초한 해석학적 연구방법을 활용하였다. 독일 세대 간 상호학습에서 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있는 문헌들을 수집하여 이를 재구성하고 재해석하는 과정을 거쳤다. 독일 교육학 담론에서 세대와 세대 간 상호학습의 의미, 교수학적 행위, 실제 도시문화 및 교육문화 사례를 종합적으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과 크게 세 가지 측면에서 세대 간 상호학습 프로그램을 계획하고 운영하는데 전략적인 방안을 제시 할 수 있다. 첫째, 사회적 측면에서 독일 사회에서 세대 인식은 “함께(zusammen)”의 의미가 아니라 “공동(gemeinsam)”의 의미이다. 세대 간 상호 학습을 실현하기 위해서 우리 사회에서는 나이든 세대에 대한 부정적인 고정관념과 편견을 변화시켜야 한다. 둘째, 제도적 측면에서 학교 및 대학의 개방, 평생교육 기관과 청소년 및 노인교육 기관들의 협력과 유기적인 연계, 새로운 교수법의 확장, 노인 세대의 은퇴 후 직업적인 활동 범위를 제도적으로 확장하는 것이 필요하다. 셋째, 개인적인 측면에서 젊은 세대와 나이든 세대 스스로가 지역의 세대 간 교류프로그램에 적극적으로 참여하여 소통할 수 있는 능력을 길러야 한다. 젊은 세대는 개인적-사회적인 전문지식을 강화해야 하며 나이든 세대는 자신의 전문지식을 사회에 기여함으로써 평생학습사회가 실현될 뿐만 아니라 세대 간 상호학습이 가능해질 것이다.
Abstract
This paper aims to propose the theoretic supplementation on the adult education method by analyzing the contents of interactive learning between generations in Germany, and the strategic approach for realizing the lifelong learning society and city. To this end, this paper adopted the hermeneutic research methodology based on the analysis on contents and the literature review. In accordance with the analysis, this paper proposes the strategic approach for planning and implementing the interactive learning program between generations largely in three aspects. First, the generation awareness in the German society doesn’t mean ‘together(zusammen)’ but ‘going together(gemeinsam)’ in the social aspect. Next, it is required to open schools and colleges, activate the cooperation and systematic network among lifelong education institutes, educational institutes for young generation and those for older generation and institutionally expand the new teaching approaches and the scope of vocational activity of the older generation after retirement in the institutional aspect. For the individual aspect, the young generation and the older generation should develop the ability to progressively participate in the interaction programs between generations in a community and communicate each other.
