연구 목적: 어린이집 2세반 영아들이 개방적 놀이재료(loose parts)를 가지고 놀이하는 상황에서 관찰된 스키마 놀이 양상을 탐색한다. 연구 방법: 어린이집 빈 공간에 개방적 놀이재료를 비치하였으며 2세반 5명을 대상으로 약 1시간 동안 주2-3회, 총 30회기 실내 자유놀이를 참여 관찰하였다. 연구 내용: 개방적 놀이재료로 놀이하는 사진을 Chris Athey가 명명한 8가지 스키마 놀이 기준에 따라 분류하여 놀이 양상을 탐색하였고, 어떠한 개방적 놀이재료가 연구결과에 나타난 7가지 스키마 놀이에 활용되었는지 알아보았다. 결론 및 제언: 개방적 놀이재료를 활용한 2세반 영아의 스키마 놀이 양상 탐색을 통해 7가지 스키마 놀이가 나타났다. 교사는 놀이 관찰을 통해 영아가 현재 관심을 가지고 있는 스키마가 무엇인지 알 수 있으므로, 이러한 스키마를 적용해 볼 수 있는 다양한 개방적 놀이재료를 추가적으로 지원하여 영아가 스키마를 발달시킬 수 있는 기회를 제공할 필요가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the aspects of schema play observed in which 2-year-olds in a daycare center play with loose parts. Loose parts were provided in an empty space, for 5 people aged 2 years old, and a total of 30 times were observed for about 1 hour two to three times a week. Pictures of playing with loose parts were classified according to the 8 schema play criteria named by Chris Athey to explore the play aspects, and which loose parts were used for the 7 schema plays shown in the research results. It was an opportunity to understand schema play through the search for schema play aspects of 2-year-old using loose parts. Teachers can find out what schemas children are currently interested in through play observation, so it is necessary to provide opportunities to develop schemas by additionally supporting various play materials that can apply these schemas.
