Abstract
The objective of this study is to estimate the valuation of adult’s economic education using Contingent Valuation Method. Based on a Heckman’s Two-Step Estimation, an individual needs to make two decisions : Whether to expend WTP(PAY) and how much to expend it(WTP). The results of this study showed as follows. First, ‘PAY’(choice to expend money on economic education) has positive relation with dummy variables such as ‘experience of economic education’, ‘adults who have job’. Second, Monthly mean WTP was 6019.7won. Third, ‘WTP’(willingness-to-pay for economic education)has positive relation with ‘a person who has experience of economic education’, ‘man’, ‘salaried man/woman’, ‘businessman/woman’. Fourth, The representitve who best highly evaluates economic education is the businessman who has experience with economic education.
