본 논문은 세월호 세대를 위한 기독교 대학 채플의 개선방향에 관한 연구 이다. 이를 위해 한신대 채플에 참여하는 2000명의 세월호 세대 대학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사를 통해 깨달은 사실은 세월호 세대 를 위한 채플의 새로운 방향 모색이 시급하다는 것이다. 그동안 기독교 대학 채플은 사회적 변화에 부응하지 못하였다. 결론적으로 설문조사를 토대로 세월호 세대를 위한 채플의 방향성을 숙고하면서 나는 소통하는 채플, 공감 하는 채플, 그리고 차이와 다름을 인정하는 채플로 나가야 함을 제안하고자 한다. 본 논문이 세월호 세대를 위한 새로운 채플을 모색하는 사람들에게 도움이 되기를 바란다.
Abstract
This paper explores possible improvements for the Christian university chapel program for the Sewol generation. A survey of about 2000 Hanshin University students serves as the data for this paper. This research reveals that it is important to establish a new chapel strategy for the Sewol generation. The Christian university chapel programs have failed to respond effectively to social change. A three point plan for the Sewol generation is proposed: mutual communication chapel, sympathetic chapel, and chapel which considers difference. I hope it will contribute to finding a new direc- tion for chapel programs for the Sewol generation.
