JUST 모형을 활용한 쓰기 능력 및 쓰기 동기 신장 방안

Abstract

The ability to create diverse content on a subject is the foundation and beginning of writing. Thus, students who lack the ability to create content often experience difficulty even in starting writing. Although many students have difficulties in creation content, there is a lack of research that guides these students a content creation strategy and looks into the effectiveness thereof. Therefore, in this study, a JUST Model is developed to increase the writing ability and writing motivation and the strategy is taught according to model repeatedly. Then, the effect of the JUST Model teaching on writing ability and writing motivation is statistically verified. The JUST Model developed for the content creation strategy teaching consists of four stages: 'Just writing', 'Understanding strategy', 'Synthetic writing', and 'Taking off'. This study conducts five sessions of teaching according to the JUST Model. The content creation strategy teaching using the JUST Model has a limit of being designed as a quasi-field experiment study because it cannot solve the research ethics problem that comes from the control process of the students control group. However, according to the result of analyzing the pre-test and post-test results of the JUST Model with the corresponding sample t-test, the writing ability had a tvalue of -3.057 with a significance probability of 0.008, a writing motivation had a tvalue of -3.656 with a significance probability of 0.002. Thus, it can be interpreted that the writing ability and motivation after applying the JUST Model is statistically increased. This is meaningful since it is possible to further expand the model needed for writing instruction, which contributes to the activation of school writing instruction.
