이 연구는 아동성폭력 피해특성이 피해부모의 신고태도에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 시도하였다. 연구대상자는 2012년부터 2014년까지 D시에 소재한 아동성폭력전담센터에 방문한 만 13세 미만 아동으로, 가해자가 만 10세 미만인 사례를 제외하고 127명을 최종 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 수집한 자료는 SPSS WIN 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 피해부모의 신고태도에 대한 유의한 예측변수는 피해아동과 가해자의 관계이며(p>.05), 모르는 사람보다 아는 사람일 때 0.23배(95% CI=0.07~0.74), 친척일 때 0.48배(95% CI=0.01~0.22), 친형제/의형제일 때 0.03배(95% CI=0.00~0.31), 친부/의부/모의 동거남일 때 0.17배(95% CI=0.04~0.76)이었다. 이에 이 연구에서는 연구결과의 의미를 살펴보고 연구의 한계점 및 정책적 제언을 제시하고자 하였다.
Abstract
This study was initiated to identify the effect of characteristics in child sexual abuse on parents’ reporting attitudes. The study was conducted among 127 children under the age of 13 who have been sexually abused and visited the Child Sexual Abuse Response Center located in D city between 2012 and 2014; excluding cases where assailants are under the age of ten. The significant predictor that affected parents’ reporting attitudes towards child sexual abuse was the relationship between the victim and the assailant (p>.05). The tendency increased 0.23 times(95% CI=0.07~0.74) when the assailant was an acquaintance rather than a stranger, 0.48 times(95% CI=0.01~0.22) in the case of family members or relatives, 0.03 times(95% CI=0.00~0.31) for siblings(blood/step) and 0.17 times(95% CI=0.04~0.76) for the father/step-father/live-in lover of mother. Therefore, parents were most in favor of reporting to investigative agency when the assailant was a stranger and least in favor when the assailant was a sibling of the sexually abused child.
