본 연구는 사범대학 지리과 교육과정에서 교수학습방법론이 강화되어야 하며 그 중 효과적인 지리과 교수학습방법인 야외조사활동의 필요성을 강조하였다. 야외조사활동은 다양한 주제에 적용가능하며 실제적인 지식을 습득할 뿐만 아니라 지역에 대한 통찰력, 도해력 및 지도 제작능력, 사회성 등을 길러줄 수 있다. 사범대 교육과정 혹은 재교육(연수)과정에서 다양한 교수학습방법을 학습자로써 직접 경험할 수 있는 기회가 많아질수록 교직의 전문성과 교수방법에 대한 이론적 배경을 형성하는데 기여하게 될 것이다. 특히 지리수업에서 가장 효과적인 야외조사를 사범대학 교육과정부터 비중 있게 진행하기 시작하면, 이를 체계적으로 직접 경험했던 교사가 학교현장에서 효과적인 지리수업을 위해 다시 활용하고, 사범대학 교육과정에서는 한층 발전된 야외조사방법들이 개발하게 되는 순환시스템에 의해 결국 지리교육분야의 전문성을 높여줄 것이다.
Abstract
This study commenced with the recognition of need to reinforce the theory of the teaching-learning method by using field research activity. Field research activity will be applied to the various fields of geography. This activity is useful to read the signs of the region and map, improve a healthy sociality in addition to get practical knowledge. The more opportunity to experience various teaching-learning methods directly, the more contribution there will be to constitute the theory background for the teaching method and the professionalism for teaching profession. Especially, once the most effective field research methods are preceded from the College of Education curriculum with importance, the teacher who systematically experienced these curriculums at firsthand will re-apply these systems in school classrooms for the effective geography teaching. At the College of Education, the more advanced field research methods will be invented, and these whole processes will create thepositive loop
