장애인 직업만족, 일상생활 만족, 자아존중감의 관계 연구: 제 8차 장애인고용패널을 중심으로

연구목적: 이 연구에서는 제 8차 장애인고용패널의 임금근로자 975명과 자영업주 505명 모두 1,480명의 일자리 만족도, 일상생활 만족도, 그리고 자아존중감에 대해 상호 어떠한 관계에 있는 지를 법정 장애등급, 연령과 학력과 같은 주요 인구통계적 변인들에 대해 SPSS와 Lisrel을 포함하는 다양한 통계패키지를 통해 분석하였다. 연구방법: 일자리만족은 개인의 직장유지와 삶의 만족과 밀접한 관련을 가지고 있을 뿐만 아니라 자아존중감과 같은 심리사회적 측면에서도 매우 중요하게 다루어진다. 조사원 현장조사(CAPI)로 수행된 연구결과는 임금근로자들이 자영업주들에 비해 상대적으로 높은 일자리 만족을 보였고 일상생활 만족도에서는 두 집단이 차이를 보이지 않았다. 연구결과: 일상생활 만족도의 요인 구조에서는 물질 요인과 환경 요인의 두 가지로 나타나 추후 제 2웨이브의 패널을 고안할 때 조사도구 항목들을 적절히 보완할 수 있어야 하겠다. 일자리 만족도에서는 장애 정도가 영향을 미쳤으나 패널의 장애 정도와 연령이 자아존중감에는 영향을 미치지 않았다. 결론: 따라서 장애 유형별 및 장애 정도별로 필요한 창업에 필요한 직업교육과 다양한 직업재활 정책 대안 등의 실천 방안이 마련되어야 할 것이다.
Abstract
Purpose: This study was aimed at investigating psycho-social aspects of research participants in the 8th Panel of Survey of Employment for the Disabled with regard to their job satisfaction, daily life satisfaction, and self-esteem. 975 regular wage workers and 505 self employed persons with disabilities responded to a structured survey questionnaire. Method: Personal characteristics such as age and the legal degree of disability, and several other variables with factors of research questions above were analyzed using the SPSS, Lisrel, and Amos statistical analysis packages to compare and to delineate the inter-relationships of the research variables and factors. Results: Study results of the data of computer-assisted personal interviews are as the following. Firstly, with regard to job satisfaction regular wage workers showed higher ratings compared to the self-employed research participants, while showing no statistical difference in the daily life satisfaction. Secondly, items on the daily life satisfaction scale resulted in a two-factor model with 'the Material Factor' and 'the Environmental Factor'. Conclusion: It is highly recommended that the second wave of the panel should be designed to devise the survey instrument having more items in the daily life satisfaction. Future policy alternatives and strategies will be needed for different disability groups and persons with various severity of disabilities.
