본 연구는 생태관광지의 회복적 서비스스케이프가 장소 이미지 및 방문객의 행동의도와 형성하는 영향 관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 더 나아가, 회복적 서비스스케이프와 행동의도 사이에서 장소 이미지의 매개효과를 설명함으로써 심도있는 분석 결과를 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 SPSS 27.0 및 AMOS 23 프로그램을 적용하여 거문오름에서 수집된 324명의 설문 응답을 바탕으로 한 실증분석을 진행하였다. 또한 매개효과 분석을 위해 부트스트랩 분석을 활용하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과를 살펴보면 생태관광지 회복적 서비스스케이프의 하위변수인 벗어남과 적합성은 장소 이미지에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 장소 이미지는 방문객의 행동의도에 유의미한 영향을 나타냈다. 또한, 회복적 서비스스케이프의 적합성은 행동의도에 유의미한 영향을 나타냈다. 아울러, 장소 이미지는 회복적 서비스스케이프의 벗어남 및 적합성과 행동의도 사이에서 유의미한 매개효과를 미치는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 분석 결과는 생태관광지의 회복적 서비스스케이프 분야 연구에서 장소 이미지 및 행동의도와 연계한 연구 범위가 확대되는데 학술적 기여를 할 것으로 사료된다. 더 나아가 본 연구 결과는 향후 생태관광지의 개발과 활성화에 기여할 수 있는 실증적인 시사점을 제시할 것이라 기대된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of ecotourism restorative servicescape on the place image and visitors’ behavioral intention. Further, this study examined the mediating effect of the place image in order to provide in-depth analysis for the relationships between restorative servicescape and behavioral intention. To do that, this study utilized SPSS 27.0 and AMOS 23 for the empirical analysis using 324 valid survey responses collected from Geomunoreum. Also, bootstrapping was applied to clarify the mediating effect. The analysis results revealed that suitability and escape as sub-factors of restorative servicescape had positive effects on the place image. Also, the place image had positive impacts on behavioral intention. Moreover, suitability had positive effect on the behavioral intention. Furthermore, the place image had positive mediating effects between suitability and escape, and behavioral intention. The findings of this study would make some theoretical contributions in the area of ecotourism restorative servicescape related to the place image and behavioral intention. Also, this study provides practical implications to develop and activate ecotourism sites.
