본 연구의 목적은 패션모델이 전반적인 직무 상황에서 성공적인 직업적 수행을 위해 필요한 능력들을 분석하여, 패션모델 자기효능감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 무엇인지에 대한 패션모델 자기효능감 구성개념을 정립하여 체계화하는데 의의가 있다. 패션모델 효능감 구성개념을 살펴보기 위하여 모델과 교수, 패션 디자이너, 패션모델로 구성된 전문가 집단을 대상으로 반구조화된 형태로 심층 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 그 결과 패션모델 효능감은 체형관리효능감, 대인관계 효능감, 퍼포먼스 효능감, 정서조절 효능감으로 도출되었다. 이와 같이 정립된 패션모델 효능감구성개념은 패션모델의 우수한 역량을 발전시키기 위한 실증적 자료로서 의미가 있을 것이며, 패션모델에 관한 다양한 연구를 위한 기초자료로서 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This study intended to establish the fashion model efficacy construct and develop a fashion model efficacy scale with validity and reliability. To examine the fashion model efficacy construct, Semi-structured In-depth interviews were conducted with an expert group consisting of models, professors, fashion designers, and fashion models. As a result, fashion model efficacy was deduced as body shape management efficacy, interpersonal relationship efficacy, performance efficacy, and emotion control efficacy. Based on the construct established through in-depth interviews, 64 questions on four factors were selected as final preliminary questions, which were then used to conduct the main survey with 271 fashion models and model majors. Next, item fit analysis, reliability test, exploratory factor analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis were conducted, and 33 questions on four factors (body shape management self-efficacy, interpersonal relationship self-efficacy, performance self-efficacy, and emotion control self-efficacy) were selected as final questions. To verify the validity of the final questions, convergent validity could be secured through predictive validity and correlation analysis through regression analysis. The fashion model efficacy scale developed in this study will have significance as empirical data to develop the excellent capabilities of fashion models and can be used as primary data for various studies on fashion models.
