본 연구에서는 초등 예비교사들의 기후변화에 대한 인식·지식·태도, 환경 소양에 대해 초등 예비교사의 환경교육 관련 수업 유무, 성별, 과학교육과와 타 심화전공별로 알아보고, 환경 교육이 초등 예비교사들의 기후변화에 대한 인식·지식·태도, 환경 소양에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등 예비교사의 기후변화에 대한 인식·지식·태도의 점수는 각 하위 요소별로는 유의미한 차이가 없었지만, 전체적으로 통계를 합산하였을 때 환경 교육 수강자와 비수강자 사이에 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 그리고 환경 소양 점수는 환경 소양의 정의적 영역, 인지적 영역에서는 환경 교육 수강자와 비수강자 사이에 유의미한 차이가 없었지만 행동적 영역에서 환경 교육 수강자가 비수강자보다 다소 평균 점수가 높은 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 초등 예비교사의 기후변화에 대한 인식·지식·태도의 점수는 여학생이 남학생보다 평균 점수는 다소 높았으나, 기후변화에 대한 지식과 태도의 하위요소에서는 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았으며, 기후변화에 대한 인식 관련 하위요소에서만 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 그리고 환경 소양 점수는 여학생이 남학생보다 평균 점수가 다소 높았으나, 통계적으로 유의미한 차이는 없었다. 셋째, 초등 예비교사의 기후변화에 대한 인식·지식·태도의 점수는 과학 교육과 예비 교사들의 평균 점수가 타 전공 예비교사들보다 다소 높았지만, 통계적으로 유의미한 차이는 없었다. 그리고 환경 소양 점수는 타 전공 예비교사들의 평균 점수가 과학 교육과 예비 교사들보다 다소 높았지만, 통계적으로 유의미한 차이는 없었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of environmental education, gender and major on the awareness, knowledge and attitude about climate change and environmental literacy of pre-service elementary teachers The subjects of the awareness, knowledge and attitude about climate change study were 59 pre-service elementary teachers in Busan National University of Education and the subjects of the environmental literacy study were 53 pre-service elementary teachers in Busan National University of Education. The results of this study are as follows. First, the scores of elementary school pre-service elementary teachers' perceptions, knowledge and attitudes on climate change were not statistically significant differences in each sub-factor, but overall, when statistics were added together, there was a significant difference between environmental education students and non-takers. In addition, there was no significant difference between environmental education students and non-college students in the definitive and cognitive areas of environmental knowledge, but in the behavioral areas, environmental education students had somewhat higher average scores than non-college students. Second, the scores of pre-service elementary female teachers' perceptions, knowledge and attitudes about climate change were slightly higher than that of male teachers, but there was no significant difference in the knowledge and attitude of climate change. Only in the perceptions factors, there was statistically significant difference. Also, in the environmental literacy test, the average score for female teachers was slightly higher than that for male teachers, but there was no statistically significant difference. Third, the scores of pre-service elementary teachers of science education major on awareness, knowledge, and attitude of climate change were somewhat higher than those of other majors, but there was no statistically significant difference. In addition, the average score of pre-service teachers in other majors was slightly higher than that of pre-service teachers in science education, but there was no statistically significant difference.
