중국 대북외교의 영향력 분석 - 북핵문제를 중심으로 -

Abstract

The North Korean(P.R.K) nuclear issue not only has a character of challenge to the interest of China, but also opportunity to realize the grand strategy of China. Now China take two ways to solve the North Korean nuclear issue. which one is to promote the individual influence by economic assistance to north korea and the another is take a progressive role in the six party talks on the North Korean nuclear issue. The former way seems like an effective means to the North Korea government for the status quo in the east asia which is china want to. China places the stability in the North Korean regime as its top priority, so that it will be the first to oppose U.S. pressure on the North. In order to obtain the deterrent effect in Korea peninsula and promote her own national interest, China is expected to reaffirm the alliance between the two countries and also offer economic aid to the North Korea. An alliance demands fidelity on both sides. The North korea-China alliance is seems to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two countries. Therefore China is able to use the power of economic and security influence to change the north Korea’s attitude of participation the six party talks on the North Korean nuclear issue. Reaching a conclusion, China has a great deal of influence on the North Korean nuclear issue.
