Abstract
Comparison of Attitudes between Chinese and Korean University Students on Division of Household Work Lee, Joung-yong Many researchers have focused on the effects of gender attitudes on household work and have found that the division rate of household work between husband and wife changes when their gender attitudes change. This paper compares the attitudes of Chinese and Korean university students on seven different household chores: shopping, cooking, dish washing, child care, cleaning, laundry, and earning.This study shows two ineresting finings. First, there are significant attitude gaps between female students and male students. Female students ask more husband's participation than male student's intention to participate in household chores.Second, Korean students, compared with Chinese female students, reveal more intention to share household chores with wife.
