Abstract

To “exist” you need to be existed “somewhere”, a specific place where you belong. In those particular places human beings could accumulate concepts and ideas empirically and intellectually. It is not conceivable that a philosophy does not relate to a concrete place, in other words, a place for existence. In recent years, the study of the relationship between place and philosophy (phenomenologically) has continuously emerged with the exploration for the perception of place-based knowledge. This is the reason in this study why we try to analyze A. Dugin's interpretation of Heidegger through the process of “Russian” placial transformation. Dugin’s “Russian Dasein” had been reborn out of Heidegger's concept of Dasein. It can be said that philosophy, which had started in Greece, travelled to Dugin's Russia through Heidegger's Germany for another being. The meaning of Being and Existence, the sense of place, and the problems of the identity of philosophy can be re-examined by localized philosophy. A philosophy that forgets where it is cannot be welcomed anywhere.
