Abstract
Brazilian culture made compositions of subordinate relations in integration of white and black culture. Blackness constitutes the essential and heart of brazilian popular culture. Blackness has maintained and developed to various types n account of change in social condition. After the abolition of slavery, the cultural relations had turned from subordinate relation into equal relation without changes of Blackness which was important. As well, ‘Afro- Brasileiro’ could integrate into Brazilian society as bond factors. Brazilian culture gets to be ‘mulato’ and their culture with integration of Black culture. Consequently, Brazilian culture is formed by spatial and symbolic integration with white and black culture. Blackness is african potentiality, soul, harmony and cultural values hat formed through experiences of slavery. The blackness of Brazilian culture has followed distinct characters. First, it has historical and cultural continuity with African culture in a different way with other regions. Second, it's popularity is based on black communities. Third, it has singularity of African tribal culture. Fourth, it has cultural solidarity in view of geographical proximity. Research of black nature, culture an literature are needed to be analyzed in the active relationship of unification of Brazilian culture. Through the nature of ‘Afro-Brasileiro’, mixed-blood, hybrid, the cultural real form of Brazil is being taken concrete shape.
