The aim of this paper concerns how Lula’s leadership has achieved ‘Inclusive Growth’ of Brazil. Brazil is a country where the majority of the population live in the direst poverty as the one of the most unequal countries. The victory of Lula in the presidential election of 2002 provoked an immense hope of change among the poor and oppressed in Brazil. Lula da Silva has been named the most influential leader in the world by Time Magazine, ahead of US President Barack Obama who is ranked fourth. Based on change of leadership, the Brazilian president tries to propel Brazil into the First World with government social programs like Fome Zero, designed to end hunger, and with plans to improve the education available to members of Brazil’s working class.
