李白＜贈＞詩 譯解 및 考察(13) ― (제47수에서 제49수까지)

Abstract

This paper translates and reviews three poems written by Li Bai(李白). The first poem is dedicated to his cousin, and he tells his current hard plight and begs him to help him. Although it is a short poem, Li Bai's desperate feelings are well expressed. The second poem can be divided into two paragraphs. The first paragraph describes the process by which Gai Huan(蓋寰) learned the Tao. It describes Gai Huan’s supernatural power, reputation, and training level of internal strength. First of all, the second paragraph describes the excellence of the content and font of the writing about the training of Taoist Hermit written by Gai Huan for him. Next, he describes the favor for Gai Huan who wrote the writing for him and the preciousness of his poem in which he expresses his sincerity to him. The third poem also can be divided into two paragraphs. The first paragraph indicates that he had the talent like unrefined gemstone, but there is no one who recognizes him, and even if somebody recognizes him, it is of no use. In the second paragraph, on one hand, he wishes that public officials will recommend him to the royal court recognizing his talent and on the other hand, he intends to become a Taoist hermit, pursuing the world of immortals by taking the unrefined gemstone.
