Abstract
This article focuses on the 18 of Joseon Edition Chinese books recorded in the Ribenfangshuzhi, and mainly explains their content and documentary value. It also points out the special value of the Joseon Edition Chinese books recorded in the Ribenfangshuzhi in the history of book exchange in East Asia. The Joseon Edition Chinese books in the "Ribenfangshuzhi" have the following three documentary values: first, it fills the gap in Korean publishing culture before modern times; second, it explains the source of the original texts of the Japanese editions; and third, it provides a deep understanding of relevant issues of the "Dacangjing". The "Ribenfangshuzhi" lists 18 of Joseon Edition Chinese books, 16 of which were Chinese and two Korean. These 18 books were originally printed in Goryeo or Joseon and then brought to Japan. Considering that Yang Shoujing brought Chinese books he had acquired in Japan back to China upon his return, the 18 of Joseon Edition Chinese books mentioned above likely traveled through Korea→Japan→ China before reaching China. Aside from the two Korean works, 16 of Chinese books were reprinted in Goryeo and Joseon before returning to China. Nine of these books were subsequently transported to the National Palace Museum in Taiwan as part of Yang Shoujing's Guanhaitang collection. The whereabouts of the remaining nine books remain to be determined.
