Three East Asian states, Korea, China and Japan, experienced national crisis from late 19th century to early 20th., because of external forces. At this time, these states try to stand together of nation in front of external forces, and for national unity they remembered their mythical national founders. Mythical national founders of each state are as such: Korea is Tangun, China is Huangdi and Japan is Zinmu Tenno. In relation to these founders, each state had various programs. But there are common features and points of differences between them. First, Founders are national ancestor or not? Tangun of Korea and Huangdi of China are regarded as national ancestors, but Zinmu Tenno is not. Second, is there system of counting year from founder, or not. In this problem, all 2 state had this sytem. Third, is there memorial day for national founding? Korea and Japan, yes. But China is no. At this point, this become an issue, why there are points of differences. This is my a conclusions to this problem, that dynasty is collapsed or not.
