이 글의 목적은 두 가지이다. 첫 번째는 부여 도성의 위치 및 공간 구성과 관련된 문헌 기록들을 종합 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 위치와 공간 구성에 관한 현재까지의 기준 및 현황을 정리하는 것이다. 구체적으로, 후기도성에 관해서는 다섯 가지의 지리적 조건을 추출하였고, 전기도성에 관해서는 공간구성의 근거사료로 활용되었던 『삼국지』 기록에 대한 재독해를 바탕으로 새로운 해석을 전망하였다. 두 번째는 부여 도성을 사회적 공간으로 이해하기 위한 과제로서, 궁성‧왕성‧도성 등의 용어를 분별‧정리하고, 부여 도성 경관에 관한 문헌기록을 분석하는 것이다. 특히, 지배질서 및 권력관계가 반영된 도성 경관의 재현을 강조하였다. 궁실과 종묘, 창고와 뇌옥 등 권위적 건축물의 존재와 제가‧사자 등의 거주양태가 반영된 도성 경관의 변화 등 경관 연구로의 확장을 제안‧전망하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this text is twofold. First, it aims to comprehensively analyze the clues found in historical records related to the location and spatial composition of the Buyeo capital city. Based on this analysis, the text seeks to organize the current criteria and status regarding the location and spatial layout of the city. Specifically, for the Later Capital, five geographical conditions have been identified, and for the Earlier Capital, a new interpretation is proposed by re-reading the records from the Records of the Three Kingdoms(『三國志』), which have been used as the basis for understanding its spatial composition. Second, as part of the task of understanding the Buyeo capital as a social space, the text intends to clarify terms such as "palace(宮城)," "royal fortress(王城)," and "capital city(都城)," and to analyze historical records concerning the landscape of the Buyeo capital. In particular, the reconstruction of the capital city's landscape, reflecting the ruling order and power relations, was emphasized. It suggests and anticipates an expansion into landscape studies, focusing on changes in the cityscape that reflect the presence of authoritative buildings such as palaces, ancestral shrines, public treasuries, and prisons, as well as the residential patterns of nobles and officials.
