고등학생의 자기 평가 소재 하위요인 군집이 정신건강에 미치는 영향

초록

본 연구에서는 자기 평가 소재 척도(Locus of Evaluation Inventory: LEI; Bucur & Lee, 2006)를 청소년집단에서 타당화 하고, 자기 평가 소재가 청소년의 정신건강과 어떤 관련이 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 탐색적 요인분석 결과, 총 16문항, 4요인 구조가 제안되었으며, 특히, 청소년의 특성을 반영하는 새로운 요인(긍정적 평가에 의존하기)이 나타났다. 또한 군집분석 및 다변량 분산분석 결과, 청소년판 LEI의 하위요인 점수에 따라 3개의 군집(내적 평가소재 집단, 내-외 평가소재 집단, 외적 평가소재 집단)이 나타났으며, 각 집단은 자존감, 삶의 만족도 및 다양한 정신건강 지표에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 본 연구의 결과는 청소년 집단의 정신건강을 이해하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

Abstract

This study validated the Locus of Evaluation Inventory (LEI; Bucur & Lee, 2006) in Korean high school students and further examined the relationship between the locus of evaluation (LOE) and degrees of psychological adjustment. The results of an exploratory factor analysis (EFA) yielded a 16-item Korea-LEI with four factors. Interestingly, a new factor (Dependence on Positive Feedback) emerged, which may reflect the characteristics of Korean adolescents. A cluster analysis and MANOVA results revealed the presence of three clusters (Internal LOE Group, Internal-External LOE Group, and External LOE Group), and each cluster differed significantly across the measures of self-esteem, life satisfaction, and psychological adjustment. This study helps to understand high school students' LOE and presents a fuller picture of their psychological health.
