청소년의 우울에 대한 스트레스 노출모형, 스트레스 생성모형, 스트레스 우울 상호순환 효과모형의 검증 : 자기회귀 교차지연 모형을 적용한 종단분석

이 연구는 청소년을 대상으로 하여 대인관계 스트레스와 우울 사이의 종단적 상호관계를 검증하였다. 이 연구는 한국청소년정책연구원에서 중학생들을 대상으로 조사를 실시한 한국청소년패널조사 중등패널의 2차년도, 3차년도, 4차년도, 5차년도 자료를 이용하였다. 자기회귀 교자지연 모형분석을 적용하여 스트레스 노출모형, 스트레스 생성모형, 상호순환 효과 모형을 검증하였다. 그 결과 청소년의 대인관계 스트레스와 우울 사이의 상호순환 효과 모형이 스트레스 노출모형, 스트레스 생성모형 보다 더 적합한 것으로 지지되었다. 이전 시점의 대인관계 스트레스는 이후 시점의 우울을 유의하게 예측하였고, 이전 시점의 우울도 이후 시점의 대인관계 스트레스를 유의하게 예측하였다. 이 결과들은 남녀 집단모두에서 동일하였다. 결국, 본 연구의 결과는 스트레스와 우울의 상호순환 효과모형을 지지하였다. 스트레스 노출모형과 스트레스 생성모형은 상호순환 효과모형에 내재되기 때문에 이 연구의 결과는 스트레스와 우울 사이의 관계에 대한 스트레스 노출모형과 스트레스 생성모형 또한 지지됨을 보여주었다.
Abstract
This study examined the longitudinal reciprocal relationship between adolescents' interpersonal stress and depression. This study used the panel data of interpersonal stress and depression in the second, third, fourth, and fifth waves that were assessed by the Korean Adolescents Policy Research Institute. Autoregressive cross-lagged modeling tested the stress generation hypothesis, the stress exposure hypothesis, and the reciprocal effects hypothesis. Support emerged for the reciprocal effects model between interpersonal stress and depression since the fit with the data was better than both the stress generation model and the stress exposure model. Our results further indicated that interpersonal stress predicted subsequent levels of depression, and that depression predicted subsequent levels of interpersonal stress. These findings held for both boys and girls. The results do not necessarily contradict either the stress exposure model or the stress generation model because these models were nested within the parameters of the reciprocal effects model.
