집단괴롭힘 피해학생의 역량강화를 위한 집단프로그램의 개발과 효과

Abstract

The purpose of this dissertation is to develop a group program on empowerment for victim students of school bullying(here in after shall be referred to as “the group program”) and to verify its effectiveness. In this regard, this dissertation delineates what the contents and strategies of the group program should be, and how effective the group program is, as research tasks Based upon the research on the literature for the first task, intervention is required to mitigate the negative emotion involving a feeling of helplessness, depression and anxiety, which are typical emotional characteristics and to improve their poor inter-personal skills, which are typical behavioral characteristics shown by victim students. Therefore, this dissertation constructed the group program, which focuses on improving motivation, self-esteem, access to resources and mutual support. In relation to the second task, I recorded 10 sessions of group process and conducted contents analysis by sub-factor for the empowerment to review whether the group program contributes to the empowerment of the victim students effectively. I choose a sentence as an analysis unit. The contents analysis covers 4 categories except an problem solving technique out of 5 categories of motivation, self-esteem, resource access activity and mutual support defined as a product of the empowerment in this dissertation. The subject of this dissertation were interviewed and selected among the victim students of school bullying referred from OO middle school. I had meetings with a group of victim students 10 times with each meeting lasting one and a half hour once a week. In conclusion, the group program on the empowerment is an effective intervention for enhancing, to a significant extent, the motivation, self-esteem, resource access activity, and mutual support for victim students suffering from school bullying.
