가구빈곤이 청소년의 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 과정분석 : 부모의 교육적 관여(투자)와 부모- 자녀 관계의 매개효과를 중심으로

초록

본 연구의 목적은 가구 빈곤이 청소년의 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 과정을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 한국청소년패널(중2패널) 1-3차년도 자료 3449사례가 활용되었으며, 구체적 분석방법은 구조방정식모형이 사용되었다. 분석결과, 빈곤은 청소년의 학교적응에 부모의 교육적 관여(투자)와 부모-자녀 관계 등 과정변수를 통해 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구의 발견은 빈곤 가구에 대한 사회적 지원이 학교적응 수준을 향상시키는데 기여할 수 있음을 보여주는 것이다. 특히, 이러한 사회적 지원이 빈곤의 영향을 매개하는 요인들에 집중될 필요가 있음을 보여준다.

Abstract

Purpose of this research is to analyze process that household poverty influences in school adjustment of adolescent. Data come from Korea Youth Panel Survey 2003-2005(middle School 2). Analysis method is Structural Equation Modeling. Result show that household poverty influences through process variable such as educational participation, parent-adolescent relationship. Finding from this study suggest that societal support for poor families contributes to improving school adjustment of adolescent. Specially, such societal support need to be centered to factors that mediate factor of poverty.
