청소년의 또래집단이 지각한 인기도에영향을 미치는 생태학적 변인

초록

본 연구에서는 또래집단이 지각한 인기도라는 새로운 개념의 인기도를 도입하여, 생태학적 변인(유기체 변인, 미시체계 변인, 중간체계 변인, 외체계 변인)이 청소년의 또래집단이 지각한 인기도에 미치는 영향력을 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위해 대구 지역의 중ㆍ고등학교 1,2학년 805명과 각 해당 학교의 교사를 대상으로 연구를 실시하였으며 자료 분석을 위해 빈도, 백분율 및 평균과 Cronbach α 계수를 산출하였고, 중다 회귀분석과 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 유기체 변인 중 성별, 연령, 외현화 공격성, 관계상 공격성, 사회적 자아존중감, 신체적 자아존중감, 친사회적 행동 및 지배성이, 미시체계 변인 중 어머니의 애정적 양육태도, 어머니의 통제적 양육태도, 친구에 대한 애착, 비행 친구와의 접촉 및 교사의 지지가 청소년의 또래집단이 지각한 인기도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 중간체계 변인 중 가정-또래 관계와 가정-학교 관계가, 외체계 변인 중 확대가족의 평가적 지지와 동아리 활동 실태가 청소년의 또래집단이 지각한 인기도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 마지막으로, 청소년의 또래집단이 지각한 인기도는 유기체 변인의 상대적인 영향력이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났고 미시체계 변인이 중간체계나 외체계 변이보다 상대적인 영향력이 더 큰 것으로 밝혀졌다.

Abstract

The Purpose of this study was to investigate the ecological variables on adolescent's perceived popularity. Independent variables were organism, microsystem, mesosystem, and exosystem. The subjects were 835-1st and 2nd graders of several middle and high schools in Daegu. The major finding were as follows: First, adolescent's perceived popularity was affected by sex, age, overt aggression, relational aggression, social self-esteem, physical self-esteem, prosocial behavior, and dominance of organism variables. Second, adolescent's perceived popularity was affected by mother's affectional parenting, attachment to friends, contact with deviant friends, and teacher support of microsystem variables. Third, adolescent's perceived popularity was affected by family-peer relationship and family-school relationship of mesosystem variables. Fourth, adolescent's perceived popularity was affected by appraisal support of extended family and circle activity of exosystem variables. Fifth, organism variables have great effect on adolescent's perceived popularity than any other variables.
