이 연구는 비행 청소년들의 위험행동을 약화시키고 적응 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 법교육 프로그램을 비행 청소년을 대상으로 실험집단과 통제집단을 구성하고 그 결과를 분석하여 효과를 검증하였다. 프로그램은 총 10차시의 프로그램을 실시하였으며 안산대안교육센터에 위탁 교육 과정에 참여하고 있는 비행 청소년의 법의식과 문제해결능력의 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 이를 위해 사전 조사를 실시하였으며, 프로그램을 운영한 후 사후 조사를 실시하였으며 공변량분석(ANCOVA)을 활용하였다. 분석결과 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단 청소년들은 법의식과 법의식 법 사용의사를 제외한 하위영역과 문제해결능력과 하위영역 중 긍정적 문제지향을 제외한 영역에서 평균점수가 향상되었으며, 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 이를 통하여 법교육 프로그램이 비행 청소년의 비행을 예방하는데 효과적인 프로그램으로 검증되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 중심으로 연구의 한계와 프로그램 보완을 위한 제언을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The aim of this study was to examine how a law-related education program which could decrease juvenile delinquents’ risky behaviors and increase their ability to adapt and then examine its effects. For the purposes of this study, we distributed juvenile delinquents into both an experiment group and control group, and analyzed the results and verified the effectiveness of a law-related education program. The sample of this research was made up of 46 juvenile delinquents who were attending a commissioned education course of Ansan Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Center, and we created a law-related education program which consisted of 10 sessions. Before starting ing the program, we conducted preliminary research into the associated legal consciousness and problem-solving abilities of juvenile delinquents, and there was, in addition, a post-test to inquire as to the effectiveness of the program. For the purposes of analysis of the research, we carried out ANCOVA. The results indicated that the sub-variables of effectiveness except ‘legal consciousness’, ‘the use intention of law’ and ‘the positive approach to problems’ increased, which suggests a statistically significant difference. In conclusion, a law-related education program is seemingly an effective program for preventing juvenile delinquents’ repetitive commitment of delinquency, and according to the results of this research, we suggest a supplementation of the program.
