본 연구는 양구백자의 장소성을 해석하고 박물관 전시, 교육에 적용 가능한 문화적 가치 프레임을 제시한다. 질적 단일사례 연구로 문헌 분석, 현장 관찰, 박물관 관계자 인터뷰를 수행하고 주제분석과 삼각검증을 실시했다. 분석 결과 양구백자의 장소성을 7차원(물질-기술, 역사-기억, 생태-지리, 사회-정체성, 경험-교육, 경제-브랜딩, 윤리-지속가능성)으로 구조화하고, 이를 문화적 가치 4영역(미학․상징, 사회․교육, 경제, 환경․윤리)과 교차시킨 ‘양구백자 장소-가치 매트릭스’를 도출했다. 이를 기반으로 관계성, 다감각성, 참여성, 윤리․지속가능성을 중심으로 초중등 학생 및 관람객을 대상으로 한 교육 프로그램 모델을 제안했다. 본 연구는 장소성 담론을 도자 연구에 접목하여 결과물 중심에서 실행․관계 중심으로 관점을 전환하고, 지역 문화유산의 통합적 해석과 실천 방향을 제안한다.
Abstract
This study interprets the placeness of Yanggu baekja (white porcelain) and proposes a cultural value framework for museum, exhibition, and education. Through qualitative single-case research, data were collected via literature analysis, field observations, and museum personnel interviews, followed by thematic analysis and triangulation. The findings structured the placeness into seven dimensions (material-technical, historical-memory, ecological-geographical, social-identity, experiential-educational, economic-branding, ethical-sustainability) and developed the 'Yanggu Baekja Place-Value Matrix' by intersecting these with four value domains (aesthetic-symbolic, social-educational, economic, environmental-ethical). Interpretive design principles (relationality, multisensoriality, participatory, ethics-sustainability) and educational program models (STEAM module, adult workshops) were proposed. This study shifts ceramic research from product-centered to practice-relationship-centered perspectives by integrating placeness discourse, providing an integrated interpretation and practical model for regional cultural heritage.
