Жесты и мимика в межкультурной коммуникации (сравнительный анализ русских и японских жестов)

Abstract

This analysis aims to define the national- cultural contexts and internal informations which are hidden under Russian and Japanese gesture languages by the comparison analysis method. It starts from the pre-assumption that Japanese cultural values and norms are quite different to Russians equivalents through the closeness. Non-verbal language is divided into 5 fields in this study. They are greetings & farewell, denoting, agreement & non-agreement, psychological &emotional gestures and language-objects & language-symbols which express concrete materials or abstract situation etc. The analysis of these gesture languages helped to find out cultural conditioned conditions and stereotyped social-cultural informations behind 2 major non-verbal languages whose characteristics are definitely not similar as in the analysis on the verbal areas.
