연구목적: 본 연구는 장애인 임금근로자의 차별경험이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하고, 장애인차별금지법 인지가 삶의 만족도에 조절효과를 갖는지를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법: 2023년 장애인 실태조사 데이터 중 장애인 임금근로자 1,890명을 대상으로, 장애 차별경험과 장애인차별금지법 인지의 상호작용항을 포함하여 다중 회귀분석을 진행하였다. 연구결과: 전반적 차별경험과 직장 내 차별경험 모두 삶의 만족도를 유의하게 낮추고, 장애인차별금지법 인지는 유의하게 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 장애인차별금지법 인지는 두 모형에서 모두 유의한 조절효과를 보였다. 결론: 장애인차별금지법 인지는 차별 수준이 높은 상황에서 부정적인 영향을 완화하는 보호 요인으로 확인되었다. 이를 통해 본 연구에서는 장애인차별금지법과 관련 법령 간의 정합성 강화, 권리구제 절차의 실효성 제고, 인지적 장애인 및 복합적인 편의제공이 필요한 장애인을 위한 맞춤형 지원체계 마련을 제언하였다.
Abstract
Purpose: This study empirically examines the impact of perceived discrimination on life satisfaction among wage-employed persons with disabilities and investigates whether awareness of the Anti-Discrimination Act for Persons with Disabilities moderates this relationship. Method: Using data from the 2023 National Survey on Persons with Disabilities, this study analyzed 1,890 wage-employed individuals with disabilities. Results: Both overall and workplace discrimination experiences significantly decreased life satisfaction, while awareness of the Anti-Discrimination Act significantly increased it. Awareness of the Act demonstrated a significant moderating effect in both models, mitigating the negative impact of discrimination. Conclusion: Awareness of the Anti-Discrimination Act functions as a protective factor that buffers the adverse effects of discrimination on life satisfaction. Based on these findings, this study suggests strengthening the coherence of the Anti-Discrimination Act and related legislation, enhancing the effectiveness of redress procedures, and establishing tailored support systems for persons with cognitive disabilities or those requiring reasonable accommodation.
