유아교육 전공자의 놀이치료를 통한 아동상담자 되어가는 경험 이야기

본 연구의 목적은 유아교육 전공자가 아동상담자로 되어가는 경험을 통하여 상담자와 교수로서의 삶에 주는 의미를 탐구하는 것이며, 내러티브 탐구방법을 사용하였다. 연구문제는 첫째, 유아교육 전공자가 ‘아동상담자가 되기까지’ 무엇을 경험하는가? 둘째, 유아교육 전공자로서 ‘아동상담자가 되는 것’은 무엇을 의미하는가? 로 설정하였다. 연구방법은 Clandinin과 Connelly가 제안한 내러티브 탐구 절차에 따라 진행되었다. 내러티브 탐구의 절차는 일반적으로 연구의 시작, 이야기하기, 다시 이야기하기이다. 연구대상인 Lee와 Koh가 각각의 내러티브를 구성하여 연구텍스트를 구성하고, 두 사람의 이야기를 비교하였으며, 각자의 내러티브를 삼차원적 은유공간에서 해석함으로써 두 사람의 이야기를 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 유아교육 전공자의 놀이치료를 통한 상담자로 되어 가는 경험은 다음 세 가지 주제로 나타났다 : ‘전공심화와 교사 역량강화를 위한 시작’, ‘갈등과 딜레마가 있는 상담자의 여정’, ‘아동상담을 통한 변화와 감격’. 아동상담자가 되어가는 것의 의미는 첫째, 유아교육현장에서 놀이의 재탐색 둘째, 교수로서의 Healing과 teaching 재탐색을 들 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the meaning of their lives as counselor and professor through the experience to becoming a play therapist for children in early childhood education major. The narrative inquiry was conducted. Research methods followed the procedures of narrative inquiry proposed by Clandinin and Connelly. The procedure of the narrative inquiry have usually three step. It include generally study start step, telling step, retelling step. As a result, there appeared three themes in the early childhood majors’ experience of becoming a play therapist for children: ‘start for majors deepening and teacher empowerment’, ‘journey of play therapist with conflicts and dilemmas’, ‘change and overwhelming moment through a play therapist for children’. To becoming a play therapist for children had two different meanings. One was to re-search play in early childhood education field and the other was to re-search healing and teaching as professor.
