이전 인구 감소가 계속되어온 제주도는 최근 이주민들의 증가로 인해 주민등록상 인구가 2010년을 기점으로 꾸준히 증가하고 있으며 그 속도도 점점 가속화 하고 있다. 이들 제주로의 이주민들은 베이비부머 세대뿐만 아니라 일과 생활의 균형을 중요시 하는 다양한 연령층에서 증가하고 있으며, 지역사회에 공헌의식을 지닌 인적 자원으로서 제주도 농촌으로 유입이 이뤄지고 있다. 이에 제주도 농촌은 마을 만들기의 새로운 계기가 마련되고 있다고 할 수 있으며, 이들 이주민들은 농촌 마을 만들기의 귀중한 자산으로 재인식 되어야 할 것이다. 그러나 일부 농촌마을에서는 서로에 대한 이해 부족으로 이주민들의 새로운 공동체와 기존 공동체의 반목이 발생하고 있다. 즉 신구 공동체의 조화를 통한 공동체 재구축이 실현되지 못한다면. 지속가능한 마을공동체의 활성화는 소원한 일이 될 수밖에 없을 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 마을 만들기 이론 고찰을 통해 지속가능한 커뮤니티를 위한 방법론을 모색하고 성공적으로 공동체에 정착한 이주민 대상 인터뷰 조사를 통해 그 가능성을 검토하고자 한다.
Abstract
Recently, a resident on the Jeju island is due to the increasing population of immigrants has increased steadily starting in 2010, and the rate is accelerating. Among the new instruments is provided in Jeju, it is re-recognition as a valuable asset in making rural villages. However, unless communities rebuild is not realized. Activation of a sustainable village community will be difficult. So, it is essential that inspiration focuses on for settlement consciousness, not residence to contribute to their activating the local after settling down Jeju. In this study, we first examines the population changes due to immigrants status in Jeju in 2010 and consequent diversification of family types through the analysis of the census data of 2010. Next, we examine the characteristics of the Community Business inventory based on the analysis of the Type of Community and we propose the community model through the analysis of Community Business. Finally, we explore the diversity of Community Business in Jeju which are mainly involved by immigrants.
