이 논문의 목적은 현재 인도에 진출한 한국기업들의 실태를 조사하여 향후 인도에 진출하고자 하는 한국기업의 효과적인 진출에 도움을 주기 위한 것이다. 연구는 현재 인도에 근무하고 있는 한국기업 실무자들과의 면담을 바탕으로 이루어졌다. 조사를 통해 밝혀진 내용은 인도 진출 한국기업의 어려움은 모든 기업이 겪고 있는 동질적인 부분과 업종별, 진출 유형별, 지역별 차별적 부분으로 분류하였다. 동질적 부분으로는 인도 정부, 인도시장, 인도 산업문화, 인도 문화, 노무관리와 관련된 어려움이 있었다. 차별적 부분에서, 업종별로 어려움을 느끼는 정도가 다르며, 진출 형태에 따라서 지사법인은 한정된 주재기간과 하위직의 주재원들이 결정권을 갖지 못해 일처리에 어려움이 있으며, 독립 법인은 자금 지원을 받을 곳이 없었다. 지역별로 도시에서는 과다한 주재비가, 지방에서는 공장 주변의 지역민 이기주의가 어려움을 야기했다. 일부 지역에서는 유니온이 위협적 존재이다.
Abstract
This article aims to research the actual state of the current Korean entrepreneurs making inroads into India, to help the Korean entrepreneurs seamlessly branch out into India in the future. So the study was done focusing on interviewing Korean businessmen in India. The similarities and the differences of the difficulties in which Koreans encounter are classified according to the industries, the types of expansion, and the regions. The similarities faced stem from the Indian government, Indian market, Indian biz-customs, their culture, and their labor management. The differences are diverse based on associated fields they're in. In the types of expansion, those of the branching companies come from the limited period of staying, and the absence of the decision-making power. The independent ones are experiencing the absence of the financial support from Korean government or Bank. Depending on the region, the excessive expense for living in the cities and the selfishness of the local society in the suburbs cause the difficulties and the regional labor Union power in certain locations brings about the difficulties.
