본 연구는 놀이상황에서 발달지체유아의 발화능력과 어휘다양도를 알아보고자 하였다. 전라북도 I시에 거주하는 미취학 아동 중 생활연령과 언어연령, 지적능력이 동일한 지적장애, 자폐성장애, 뇌병변장애 유아 각각 10명씩 전체 30명을 대상으로 자발화(형태소길이, 구문길이, 낱말길이) 능력과 어휘다양도를 알아보았다. 유아에게 익숙하고 흥미와 연령을 고려하여 선정한 실물과 유사한 놀잇감을 선정하였으며, 동물놀이, 시장놀이, 병원놀이, 소꿉놀이를 하면서 자연스럽게 나타나는 발화를 측정하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 평균발화길이를 분석 하였을 때 집단 간에 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 즉 지적장애 유아의 형태소길이, 구문길이, 낱말길이의 발화길이가 뇌병변장애, 자폐성장애 유아보다 긴 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어휘다양도는 지적장애 유아가 전체어휘다양도와 다른 낱말 수, 총 낱말 수에서 뇌병변장애와 자폐성장애 유아에 비하여 다양한 어휘를 사용하며 발화 능력이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 뇌병병장애와 자폐성장애 유아의 문법발달을 향상시키는 발화프로그램 개발이 필요하겠고, 발달지체유아 중재에서 중요한 방향이 될 것이다.
Abstract
This study was to investigate speaking ability and lexical diversity of children with developmental delay in play situations, we investigated spontaneous speech(length in morphemes, phrasal length, length in words) ability and lexical diversity of 30 preschoolers residing in I city, Jeollabuk-do Province. In each group, there were 10 subjects who have intellectual disability, autism and brain lesions, respectively. Their spontaneous utterances were evaluated in natural situations during animal play, market play, hospital play and house play. As a result, firstly, there was a significant difference in analyzing mean length of utterance and it appeared that the utterance length of morphemes, phrases, words of children with intellectual disability was longer than that of children with brain lesions and children with autism. Secondly, regarding lexical diversity, overall lexical diversity, number of different words and total number of words of children with intellectual diversity were higher than those of children with brain lesions and children with autism. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a speech program that improves the grammatical development of children with autism disorder and cerebrovascular disease, and it will be an important direction in developmental retardation intervention.
