언어발달지연 아동의 수용 및 표현 언어우세유형에 따른 의사소통 행동 특성

초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 언어우세유형에 따라 의사소통행동 간에는 어떠한 차이가 있는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구방법: 본 연구에는 18-35개월의 표현언어우세 언어지연 집단 10명, 수용언어우세 언어지연 집단 10명, 일반아동 집단 10명으로 총 30명이 참가하였다. 영유아의 행동표본은 Communication and Symbolic Behavior Scales Developmental Profile(CSBS DP) 중 놀이절차에서 사용되는 인형과 소꿉놀이 세트를 사용하였다. 연구결과: 세 집단의 의사소통행동의 빈도를 비교한 결과, 표현언어우세 언어지연 집단이 일반아동 집단과 수용언어우세 언어지연 집단보다 낮게 나타났으며, 일반아동 집단과 수용언어우세 언어지연 집단과도 유의한 차이를 보였다. 의사소통행동 유형별로 살펴 본 결과 행동통제, 사회적 상호작용, 공동주의에서 집단 간 차이가 있었으나 행동통제에서는 수용언어우세 언어지연 집단과 일반아동 집단 간에는 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 의사소통행동 기능의 유형에서 집단과 과제 간 상호작용이 있는지를 살펴본 결과, 수용언어우세 언어지연 집단과 표현언어우세 언어지연 집단 간 행동통제와 공동주의에 따른 변화에서 차이가 유의미하지 않았다. 결론: 언어발달에 문제를 보이는 아동의 의사소통 및 언어능력을 평가할 시 언어우세유형과 사회적 의사소통능력에서의 세부 기능을 함께 평가하는 것이 중요함을 시사해준다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine whether there is any difference between the communicative acts in accordance with the language dominant type. A total of 30 toddlers aged 18-35 months participated in the study. The participants were classified into three groups: Language delay-Expressive language dominant (LD-ELD), Language delay-Receptive language dominant (LD-RLD), Typical development (TD). The behavior samples of the participants were assessed using CSBS-DP(play). The results were as follows: There were significant differences among the three groups in the frequency of communicative acts. LD-ELD group showed lower than the TD group and the LD-RLD group.As a result of examining the types of communicative acts, there were differences among groups in behavior regulation, social interaction, and joint attention, but in behavior regulation, there was no difference between the LD-RLD group and the TD group. The interaction effects between the group and the task in the LD-RLD group and the LD-ELD group, there was no significant difference between behavior regulation and joint attention. Therefore, assessing children with language impairments, it is suggested that it is important to evaluate the language dominant type and the detailed functions of social communication skills.
