Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the strategy of attention concentration to use during circle times for early childhood teachers. In order to achieve the purpose of the study was to record a circle time lesson there are seven early childhood teachers, and to ensure the title 21 classes videos. The interaction were recorded as well as the class situation, in particular, the children interrupted classes by talking in loud voices and asking questions unrelated to the lesson contents. They had a lack of concentration and show no interests in the teacher’s questions. Repeatedly read the note interaction of concentration as early childhood teachers to use, we were able to find the attention concentration strategy that is meaningful through the qualitative analysis process, such as classifying the important concepts. Early childhood teachers use strategies that attention concentration has been using the strategy emotional and behavioral strategies, rational strategy. Behavioral strategies is how to use the appointment in a controlled manner. Specific strategies were used strategies such as singing, play of the hand, to control voice, to fulfill promises concentrate, chanting. Emotional strategy was used as a leverage to such feelings, to praise, to intimidate (to deprive the likes), to lecture, to rule, to silence emotive strategies. Rational strategy is, to question, to appoint, to take advantage of educational media, such as by confirming the words of the teacher of words and friends, was using a strategy that can deepen or extend the educational content. In this study, the significance in that it may become the basis materials that can will support to initiative the way of appropriate concentration of attention at the time for the early childhood of teachers to improve the quality level of the class is there.
