하노이 성채의 평면 배치 특성에 관한 연구

본 연구는 베트남의 전통 성인 탕 롱 성과 그 위에 세워진 서양식 성채의 배치 방식을 형태적으로 비교 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 레 왕조 이후 왕조의 특성에 맞추어 변화 · 존재 해 왔던 탕 롱 성은 1802년 응 우옌 왕조의 쟈 롱 황제 이후 서양식으로의 급격한 변화를 겪는다. 기존의 성을 이루었던 건축 자재들은 새로운 수도 후에로 철거 · 이동 되었으며, 그 위에 서양의 보방식 성채가 들어섰다. 이에 본 연구는 이 시점을 전후로 두 성의 배치 방식에 있어서의 이질적 모습을 동양과 서양의 문화라는 기준에서 분석해 보았다. 우선, 성 자체의 목적에 차이를 들 수 있었다. 동양은 성 배치에 있어 왕조의 권위와 통치 질서를 염두에 두었다. 반면 서양의 성채는 방어 기능에 중요성을 두었다. 자연스럽게 동양 성 내부의 건물의 배치는 정치적인 다이어그램 그 자체가 되었으며, 서양의 성채의 성격은 방어에 따른 적절한 형상 만들기에 초점이 맞추어진다. 내재적 질서를 따르는 베트남의 고대 궁성과 외형적 형태 질서를 따르는 서양식 성채는 순차적으로 생성되고 소멸되면서 만들어진 흔적들로 현재 하노이 도시 구조의 일부를 이루게 된 것이다. 수 없이 많은 요소들이 도시의 특징을 만들어 낸다고 했을 때, 하노이 성채를 통해 시간을 달리해서 존재했던 동서양 성의 합치된 듯 합치되지 않은 모순적 모습을 알아내는 일련의 과정은 이 일대의 도시 성격을 밝혀낼 수 있는 중요한 기초자료가 되리라 여겨진다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze between the layout of Tang Long Palaces of Le Dynasty and the western style fortresses built by Nguyen Dynasty and . Especially in 1802, after the Emperor Gia Long Emperor of the Nguyen dynasty, there was a rapid change in the layout. Based on this point in time of ‘before’ and ‘after’, and with the clue of the differences in the culture of the East and the West, I would like to analyze the duality of the Hanoi Citadel with the sub-theme of 'Government vs. Defense', 'Diagram vs Geometry', and 'Intrinsic Order vs. Form Order'. The coexistence of east-west culture is considered to be as important as the phenomenon of the city that the mixture of new and old leads to the characteristics of the city. The process of finding out the co-existing contradictions of the Eastern and Western layouts that existed at different times through the Hanoi Citadel would be an important clue and basis for revealing the character of Hanoi.
