자기효능감과 회복탄력성이 특성화고등학교 학생의 학교생활 적응에 미치는 영향

본 연구의 목적은 특성화고등학교 학생들이 학교생활에서 부딪히게 되는 역경과 어려움에 대해 자기효능감과 회복탄력성이 유연한 대처기제로 작용하고 학교생활 적응을 잘 할 수 있도록 도와주는 심리적 변인으로 작용하는지 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 본 연구의 수행을 위해 대전시 소재 S여자 특성화고등학교의 2·3학년 재학생을 대상으로 설문지 263부로 조사를 실시하고 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특성화고등학교 학생들의 자기효능감이 학교생활 적응에 정적으로 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 하위요인 중 자신감이 교사관계나 교우관계에 미치는 정적인 영향력이 더 크다는 것을 확인하였다. 둘째, 특성화고등학교 학생들의 회복탄력성이 학교생활 적응에 정적으로 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 하위 요인 중 긍정성이 학교생활 적응에 가장 영향력이 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 그리고 자기효능감과 회복탄력성의 상호작용 효과를 확인한 결과, 상호작용효과는 나타나지 않았으며, 회복탄력성이 자기효능감보다 학교생활 적응에 더 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 모든 특성화고등학교의 학생들에게 일반화하기에는 어려움이 있지만 자기효능감과 회복탄력성을 상승시키고, 그 결과 학교생활 적응이 개선되면, 자신의 전공과 부합되는 진로를 선택할 가능성이 높아질 것으로 기대된다. 특성화고가 지닌 특수한 배경에 대한 충분한 이해를 바탕으로 특성화고 학생들의 학교생활 적응에 영향을 미치는 다양한 변인을 밝히는 후속 연구가 필요하다고 제안한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to provide the psychological variables that help the adaptation to school life in vocational high school students. Specifically, The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of self-efficacy and resilience on the adjustment to school life of high school students. Questionnaires were distributed to sampled 263 students located in Daejeon Metropolitan City and the data was analyzed. The results were as follows. First, self-efficacy had effect on positively adjustment to school life, and among the subcategories of self-efficacy, confidence was the most influential factor to adjustment to school life. Second, resilience had effect on positively adjustment to school life, and among the subcategories of resilience, positivity was the most influential factor to adjustment to school life. Third, the interactive effect of self-efficacy and resilience had not statistically effect on adjustment to school life in High School Students. The results of this study indicate that self-efficacy and resilience have a significant effect on the adjustment to school life of high school students. Finally, the implications and limitations of this study and the directions for future research were discussed.
