초등학교 자전거 교육 콘텐츠 작성방향에 관한 연구

Abstract

A mode of bicycle becomes increasingly important in the aspects of transportation, environment and health. It is a fundamental education for elementary students to ride a bicycle properly, which would enhance to safeguard and expand its usage. The education became compulsory by law after July 30th, 2010. The purpose of this study is to develop the contents of the bicycle education for elementary school students, and the implementation strategy of the bicycle education. We have expected to recognize and change bicycle uses from leisure mode to transport mode through the education and strategy. We have studied several cases of domestic and foreign education contents, and suggested that the bicycle education for elementary school students should be carried out step by step. In addition, we have found that a fundamental concept of transportation systems related to bicycle should be included in educational contents as well as a riding skill of bicycle. Lastly,we have proposed that the physical circumstance surrounding the elementary school, and the situation of elementary school can be a key factor for the effective bicycle education.
