대구 도시철도 경산 연장 개통 전·후 경산시민들의 경산-대구 간 통근교통수단 선택행태 비교 분석 - 개통 전 RP 모형과 개통 후 SP 모형의 비교 -

초록

본 연구에서는 대구 도시철도 2호선 경산시 연장 건설에 따른 통근교통수단 변화를 분석하고, 대구 도시철도 2호선 연장 개통 전과 후의 교통수단 선택행태를 비교 분석하였다. 도시철도 연장 개통 전과 후의 통근교통수단 선택에 영향을 미치는 요인을 비교 분석하기 위해 다항로짓모형을 추정하였고, 도시철도 연장 개통 전과 후의 통근교통수단 선택모형의 경험적 추정결과를 비교 분석하기 위해 개별 계수의 비교를 위한 쌍대 t-검정(pairwise t-test)과 모형 전체의 비교를 위한 우도비 검정(likelihood ratio test)을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 도시철도 연장 개통에 따른 교통수단 분담률의 변화를 보면 승용차와 버스는 각각 47.0%, 28.6%에서 35.6%, 20.7%로 감소하고, 도시철도는 24.4%에서 43.7%로 증가할 것으로 예측되었다. 둘째, 대구 도시철도 2호선 연장 개통 전과 후의 통근교통수단 선택에 영향을 미치는 요인을 비교 분석하기 위해 실시한 쌍대 t-검정결과 도시철도 연장 개통 전과 후 직장소재지1(대구 중심지), 직장소재지2(경산 인접지), 통행시간 변수의 경우 추정계수값이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 통행자의 사회경제적 특성 변수들(성별, 연령, 직업, 가계소득 등)의 추정계수들은 도시철도 연장 개통 전 ·후 통계적 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 도시철도 연장 개통 전 · 후 모형 전체의 비교를 위한 우도비 검정결과는 본 연구에서 경험적으로 추정된 두 모형이 통계적으로 충분히 다르다는 사실을 보여준다.

Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to analyze Gyeongsan citizens' mode choice behavior for commuting trips before and after the introduction of a new subway line. The paper used RP/SP data collected from Gyeongsan City, which is a satellite city of Daegu Metropolitan City. So far few researches, especially using before and after individual RP/SP travel survey, have been conducted on analyzing travel mode choice behavior before and after the introduction of new subway line. For this research, some descriptive statistical analyses were conducted. Furthermore, some empirical logit models were estimated for analyzing factors affecting the travel mode choice. Finally, some important findings and policy implications were discussed. The significant findings from the study are summarized as follows. From the descriptive statistical analyses, it was expected that after the introduction of a new subway line, the riderships of cars and buses decreased. On the other hand, the ridership of subway significantly increased. Furthermore, from multinomial logit model estimation for analyzing mode choice behavior before and after the introduction of the new subway line, it was found that there were significant differences between before and after mode choice models.
