Abstract

Inter-Korean exchange and cooperation within the barrier of division that could culturally capture the sympathy with South and North Korean residents. In order to promote Inter-Korean exchange and cooperation in the publishing field continuously, the Inter-Korean Cultural Agrement, which includes the publishing field, must be signed between South and North Korea. It is desirable to form a consortium composed of half civilians and half government officials titled the Inter-Korean Publishing Exchange and Cooperation exchange and cooperation in the publishing field. The method of approach, selection of fields, and the method of promotion must be sought based on understanding of North Koreas standpoint by considering an aspect of North Korea curently being negative in exchange and cooperation in publication. Meantime, it is desirable for the government to provide financial and administrative support by considering the point of inter-Korean exchange and cooperation in the publishing sympathy, cultural development, and integration.
