Abstract

After the division, the exchange between South and North Korea have been proceeding in various directions, but they were not satisfactory both quantitatively and qualitatively. However, North Korea has recently been trying to open and reform. As they have seen the case of China, which succeeded in maintaining the system while maintaining economic growth through opening and reform. The purpose of this study is to search for publication exchange between South and North Korea. As a result, the following is suggested. First, it should not be a tendency to show superiority in terms of cultural stimulation or shock to the opponent, but it should be based on the trust that respects the values ​​and the points of the opponent for the peace and prosperity of the nation. Second, it should be recognized that the possibility that the exchanges of publications, apart from the simple market logic that the product of publications is exchanged, can create another profit economically or commercially. Third, there is a need to find out specific genres of publications that are in contact with the realities of North and South Korea and the real life, and to focus on the projects. Fourth, the ultimate goal of publication exchange should be the free enjoyment of publications.
