Abstract
The C-ITS services have their own features in terms that they can be provided to drivers directly as soon as service events under congested traffic condition. Thus, the analyses have resulted in positive results since drivers are highly sensitive to new services, and so drive safely. This also means that we need to monitor drivers’ behaviors and their changes for long-term periods. This paper has analyzed their use-behaviors responding to the C-ITS services for long-term periods(2017~2022) by diving into two groups, i.e., remaining and not-remaining users of C-ITS services. As a result of the analysis, the remaining users used more C-ITS services than not-remaining users, and the frequency of service use during the peak hours was particularly high. On the other hand, not-remaining user showed a high rate of use during non-peak hours with low traffic. This can be judged to have led to the withdrawal of the service because the need for C-ITS service is low during non-peak hours when traffic is low. In addition, those two groups haven been divided into 3 sub-groups respectively to compare their use-behaviors. They have shown different sensitivity and compliance each other in the two groups. In the results of analyzing the Retention Rate by half-year (6 months), the Retention Rate of the group with high service use was also found to be high.
