일본의 물고기각시담(魚女房譚)에 관한 고찰

魚女房譚は『日本昔話通観』に「214. 魚女房」·「219. 貝女房」·「215.龍宮女房)」などの話型として散見する。「魚女房」の構成は大抵 、異類の救助ー婚姻及び給付ータブーの提示ータブーの侵犯と正体露見ー離別という構造を持つ。一方、「貝女房」の話型は異類の救助ー婚姻及び給付ータブーの侵犯と正体露見ー離別の構造となっており、「魚女房」の話型と類似しているが、給付の内容が美味しい食べ物を作ってくれることに限定されているという点、そして、異類側からタブーを特別に提示していないという点、異類の救助のモチーフが少ない点などが違う。そして「龍宮女房」の場合は邪魔者、龍宮訪問、異類の知恵等のモチーブが登場する同じ類型の中の説話と比べて主流というより例外的なものと見受けられる。ただし、主人公が魚であるからタブーの侵犯と正体露見のモチーフなどは「魚女房」「貝女房」からの影響であろうと判断される。日本の「龍宮女房」と韓国の「龍の子を助けて報われる」「タニシ女房」との比較は今後の課題にしたい。
Abstract
‘Fish wife’ appears in「214. fish wife」Type ·「219. shellfish wife」type·「215. Sea God’s palace wife」type. Though the name is「shellfish wife」, in the type, ‘fish wife’ appears more frequently than ‘shellfish’. ‘Fish wife’ is found about two times in the「Sea God’s palace wife」type. 「fish wife」Type generally has a structure of rescue of other kind- marriage and rewards- suggestion of taboo- invasion of taboo and disclosure of identity- separation. And「shellfish wife」type has a structure of rescue of other kind- marriage and rewards- invasion of taboo and disclosure of identity- separation. This is similar to「fish wife」Type. But there are differences compared to「fish wife」Type- in the rewards, only delicious food is served; taboo is not suggested from other kind wife ; there are cases where motif of ‘other kind structure’ does not exist, especially, in the case of ‘the kind of shellfish’, motif of ‘structure’ does not exist. When ‘fish wife’ among「Sea God’s palace wife」type is compared to tale in the same type where motifs of obstructer, visit to Sea God’s palace, wisdom of wife etc. appear, it is proper that the ‘fish wife’ is included to exception that is not main stream. And it is supposed that tale of「fish wife」「shellfish wife」type gave some influences on ‘fish wife’ among「Sea God’s palace wife」type.
