한·중·일 도덕 교과서에 나타난 애국심 비교 연구

本稿では韓国と中国、日本の小学校道徳教科書にみられる愛国心に関する記述を比較分析することにより、各国が目指している愛国心の特徴を模索した。その結果は以下のとおりである。韓国の愛国心の特徴は、護国の精神をもとに国家への忠誠心と民族愛を強調するとともに、実生活で実際に愛国を実践できるような具体的な方法を示している点である。中国の場合は、近年、国際社会における地位が高まっていることに自負心を持ち、中華民族の一員として一つになり、中国共産党を中心に国家の安寧と繁栄のため忠誠を尽くす心を持つことを促している点が特徴だといえる。日本の愛国心は、国家に対する忠誠よりも自国の伝統や文化に対する自負心が強調されると同時に、愛郷心的な要素が多分に含まれているところが特徴である。これらの結果は、各国の国際関係における地位や周辺国家との関係、歴史的な背景、目指すべき将来像などを反映したものだと考えられる。
Abstract
The study draws out the descriptive contents on patriotism from the elementary moral education textbooks of Korea, China, and Japan to conduct comparisons and analysis with the purpose of examining the characteristics of patriotism aimed by each country. The results show that the Korean characteristics of patriotism involve proposing methods to practice the love of one’s country in the actual life of the individual, and, at the same time, emphasizing affection and loyalty to the nation, based on a spirit of service to the country; China characteristically arouses the pride of the heightened status of the homeland in the international community and emphasizes the attitude of loyalty aimed at the peace and prosperity of the nation, centering on the communist party of China, with all members of the Chinese nation as one;Japan features patriotism of the homeland and simultaneously emphasizes pride over tradition and culture rather than loyalty to the nation. Such results seem to reflect each country’s relationship to its surrounding countries, position in the international community, historical background, and future aim on a national level.
