韓国における日本語専攻・非専攻者の日本語学習意識 - 大邱・慶北地域の大学生を対象に -
On Learning Awareness of Japanese Majors and Non-Majors Learning the Japanese Language in Korea - As to University Students of Daegu City and Kyungbuk Province -

This is a follow-up of my ‘On Learning Awareness of Non- Japanese Majors Learning the Japanese Language in Korea’ published last year. Students who have learned Japanese before entering the university made more than 80% of the study subjects. The motive the study subjects became interested in learning Japanese in the university seems to be, for non-Japanese majors, the elective course they chose ‘as their second or third foreign language class’ of their middle or high school with English being the first foreign language, and for Japanese majors their own choice for their future ‘university entrance’ or ‘interest in animation’. As to learning Japanese, the learners whether majoring in Japanese or not give a common opinion that it is harder than they initially thought, much difficult especially in grammar. With relatively simple area, the non-majors have trouble in ‘reading’ while the majors felt difficulty in ‘listening’.
